School Council

The School Council consists of six year 6 pupils, and 2 children from every class.  They are elected by all the other pupils, and have to write a speech to try and persuade people to vote for them. They are then involved in organising events for the whole school to enjoy. Full School Council meetings take place every half term while the Year 6 members meet fortnightly.

We as a school council have organised a number of events in and around school. Here are a few things we have done:

·   Liaised with the school cook on various aspects of the school lunch plan.

·  Combined wacky hair day with FOBS non-uniform day for prizes for the tombola which is a stall held on Fun Day/Sports Day.

·   Organised a football tournament for Sport Relief.

·   Requested themes for various discos.

·   Organised a non uniform day for UNICEF day for change.

·    Held a Celebrity Day for Children in Need.

·    Baked buns and held a cake sale for Food Aid.
